Letter of Inquiry
Applicants submitting a Letter of Inquiry are requested to use the following format and not to exceed two pages in length.
• Full Legal Name of Organisation
• Full Street Address of Organisation
• Your Organisation’s ABN
• Is Organisation Registered for GST?
• Is Organisation a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR)?
(The ALF will fund only those organisations that are DGRs)
• Name and all Contact Details of Project Representative
• Organisation’s Annual Budget
• Number of Effective Full-time Staff
• Number of Volunteers
• Purpose of Organisation
(30 words max)
• Name of Project (including Fellowship) for which you seek funding
• Description of project to be funded
(50 words max)
• Methodology of project
(50 words max)
• Explanation of why the project has become important and necessary
(30 words max)
• Desired outcomes of the project
(30 words max)
• Explanation of how the benefits of the project will be sustained after funding ceases
(30 words max)
• Explanation of why your organisation is best placed to implement the project
(50 words max)
• Budget for the project
• Amount of funding that you are seeking
The Letter of Inquiry must be submitted by DATE (the date will be supplied in time for the next grant making round) to:
